Chele's Cat Care got the call...

"Can you help this cat?" The Nextdoor post showed it all. A beautiful, fully fledged male, missing the better part of his left front leg. All I could think of when I saw this boy was that we must rescue this cat. The colony caregiver asked for help and I asked her to bring him to me.

You're never really sure what you're going to get as far as any cat is concerned. We take a chance with every cat that we bring, financially and otherwise. Videos show some things but not all. We figured that we'd be dealing with an amputation here and we were right.

This is where you, the community comes in. We need funds for kitties like these--we could not care for them without you. Heeler needed a full amputation due to the nature of his injury. Cats and dogs do very well with three, even two limbs rather than having to favor a painful, lame leg.
